In 2004, Disney released a number of The Lion King snowglobe to celebrate the tenth year aniversary of Simba's victory. One popular item is a beautiful replica of the long rock balcony of King Mufasa's jungle palace wherein Simba, Nala, Scar, Timon and Pumbaa are each highlighted through enclosed, lighted miniglobes, a tableau which perfectly suits its background music, "I Just Can't Wait to Be King." The song is also the background tune of another Disney's collector's item, a lion king snowglobe that spotlights young Simba and Nala on top of colorful jungle animals, including a rhinoceros, an ostrich, several giraffes, hippopotamus, and horses that form like a pyramid. But nothing beats the classic snowglobe wherein Zazu, in the big enclosed ball, stands on top of Mufasa’s kingdom and introduces the newborn Simba to all the animals of the jungle. The grandeur of this Lion King Snowglobe is highlighted by the animals’ explosion of colors, the perfectly rendered jungle landscape, and the majestic background music of “The Circle of Life.”
